Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since the year 2011, was the founding co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the costume and set designer for the production, as well as composer/music director and text coach. Although she usually led from within the group of actors, in her final year she made her first appearance as an actor (and the lighting design) in the SSC's King Lear.
